At IncuHive we deliver practical, high-impact net zero support services to businesses and local authorities. One example of our successful work is the Rural Net Zero Business Service, delivered in partnership with Test Valley Borough Council from November 2023 to March 2025. Funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, this programme supported nearly 100 rural businesses with tailored advice and direct funding to help reduce their carbon footprints and improve sustainability.
What We Delivered
Our full-service net zero support package included:
• One-to-one consultations to assess sustainability goals
• On-site energy audits and improvement planning
• Interactive workshops with industry experts
• Bespoke decarbonisation reports with clear, actionable steps
• Ongoing follow-up to ensure lasting impact
We facilitated 24 capital grants being awarded (up to £3,750 each), funding installations such as:
• LED lighting and energy-efficient heating/cooling systems
• Solar panels and EV charging points
• Composting and waste reduction solutions
• Insulation and thermal control improvements

Supporting Sustainable Farming Innovation
As part of the same contract, we also delivered a £25,000 Regenerative Farming Pilot Demonstrator, supporting two local farms to trial low-carbon innovations. These trials provided valuable insight into sustainable agriculture and set a precedent for future initiatives in the region.
• Michelmersh Manor Farm reduced nitrogen fertiliser use by over 70% using HumiCert foliar technology, cutting emissions and protecting local ecosystems.
• Goddards Farm used MAD Moisture monitoring to optimise water use in maize crops, reducing waste and improving efficiency.
